You're in charge of your data. Use this page to get a copy of it, fix it, or have specific data erased — without deleting your whole account. Whatever law you're covered by, we'll honour the request.
Because Embr is designed so messages and posts disappear from view, much of what you've sent is no longer accessible in the app — a data copy will mainly contain your account profile, settings, and any limited records we still hold. Records we are required to retain by law, by a binding legal request, or to investigate abuse may not be erasable on request; in those cases we will explain why.
Data-rights requests are authenticated. We will only act on a request when we can confirm it came from the account holder — otherwise anyone could ask for someone else's data, or have it erased.
Why no anonymous web form? A public form that accepts a userid would let strangers export or delete data belonging to other users. To protect you, we accept these requests only via the two channels below.
Open Embr → Me → Account → Delete data to request deletion of your data. You're already signed in, so we know it's you. (Export is not available in-app yet — use Channel B below if you need a copy.)
If you added an email address to your profile, email info@foxcybersolutions.co.in from that exact email address. Include in your message:
We will not action requests that come from any email address other than the one on the account, or for accounts with no email on file (please use Channel A instead). We respond within the legal timeframe — typically 30 days, extendable where the law allows for complex requests, with notice.
To protect your data from someone impersonating you, we verify by confirming the request came from the email registered on the account, or by your authenticated session inside the app. We only use verification details to process your request. If we can't verify you, we will not act on the request.
Reply to us and we'll take another look. You can also escalate to our Grievance Officer (Privacy Policy → Contact), or complain to your data protection authority — in India, the Data Protection Board; in the EU/UK, your local supervisory authority.
Data-rights requests submitted here are handled by Foxcyber Solutions Private Limited under our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law (DPDP Act, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and equivalents). Records we are required to retain by law, by a binding legal request, or to investigate abuse may not be erasable on request.
